To further strengthen our European IT organisation, we are looking for a TMS Manager to lead our Transport Management Systems activities within Cluster East.

Your Role
As TMS Manager, you will lead and develop the regional TMS team while ensuring the reliable delivery, support and continuous improvement of our Transport Management Systems.
This is a role for someone who enjoys combining people leadership with hands-on technology and transport expertise. You will translate our European TMS strategy into regional priorities, work closely with business and IT stakeholders and ensure our systems continue to support efficient transport operations across the cluster.
You will also act as the regional escalation point for TMS-related topics and contribute directly to projects, system improvements and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead, coach and develop a regional team of TMS specialists, setting priorities and building the capabilities needed for the future.
• Implement the European TMS strategy within Cluster East and ensure adherence to European standards, guidelines and processes.
• Build strong relationships between IT and Transport Operations, ensuring business requirements are understood and translated into effective system solutions.
• Oversee TMS incidents and requests, ensuring they are resolved in line with agreed service levels.
• Remain hands-on where required, supporting the team with TMS configuration, analysis, reporting, interfaces, documentation and technical advice.
• Act as the regional escalation point for TMS-related topics.
• Lead or support regional and European TMS projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, scope and budget.
• Drive process improvements, standardisation and innovation across the TMS landscape.
• Manage team resource planning, performance and development.
• Take responsibility for the regional TMS budget and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and optimise costs.

Who You Are
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably within IT, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Around 2–5 years of relevant leadership or team management experience.
• Strong understanding of transport and logistics processes.
• Good knowledge of Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• Comfortable combining leadership responsibilities with a hands-on approach.
• Knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Understanding of EDI, APIs and system interfaces.
• Experience with reporting tools; knowledge of Crystal Reports is an advantage.
• Project management experience and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Confident stakeholder manager who can connect operational and technical teams.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
• Passionate about transport, technology, innovation and digitalisation.
