Technical Product Manager (m/f/d)

KALDEWEI is a German family business with over 800 employees that has been producing high-quality, luxurious and sustainable bathroom solutions for over 100 years. Our portfolio includes bathtubs, shower surfaces and washbasins made of KALDEWEI steel enamel, a 100 per cent recyclable material. We rely on manufacturing exclusively in Germany along the entire value chain and export from here to the whole world.

Tasks:

• Strengthening the areas of accessories and assembly
• Responsibility for planning, controlling, and implementing the product roadmap
• Translating product policy into technical specifications
• Managing product development projects and assuming project responsibility
• Close collaboration with technical product development, production, quality, and stakeholders from marketing and sales
• Monitoring and analysis of KPIs as well as management of the product lifecycle
• Monitoring technology, market, and consumer trends and translating them into product ideas
• Coordinating go-to-market processes and ensuring high product quality
• Contact person for technical questions about the product
• Training of our field staff

Requirements:

• Completed studies in (industrial) engineering, business administration, (business) informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in product management with a strong technical focus
• Possibly experience in the construction industry, close to craft
• Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working
• Proven success in portfolio management and/or increasing profitability, etc.
• Evidence of successful new product development
• Strong communication skills, confidence in presentations, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly
• Experience in creating and delivering training materials, training courses, videos, etc.
• Excellent English skills; German language skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel to the company headquarters in Germany, to trade fairs, and to supplier visits
