Technical Trainee - SW

Are you passionate about software development and eager to start your career in the automotive industry? Join our R&D Center in Prague as a Technical Trainee – SW and gain hands-on experience developing embedded software for data collection.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you will receive mentoring, technical training, and exposure to real-world projects while building a strong foundation in automotive software development.

YOUR CHALLENGES:

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and debugging
• Support the development and implementation of embedded software for automotive climate control systems
• Assist senior software engineers with software module design and feature development.
• Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, system, and validation engineers
• Learn and apply automotive software development processes, tools, and best practices.
• Contribute to technical documentation such as design specifications, test reports, and development records
• Continuously develop your technical knowledge through training, mentoring, and project experience

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU…

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Basic understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers
• Knowledge of embedded C (ESP32, STM) and/or C++
• Experience with Arduino is an advantage
• Familiarity with software development tools, IDEs, and version control systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Curiosity, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn new technologies
• Czech and English communication skills (written and spoken)
