We are looking for a commercially driven Business Controller to join our team in Prague. You will work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in shaping financial performance across the region.

Key Qualifications and Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a strong commercial mindset and a proven ability to act as a true business partner—someone who can go beyond the numbers and help drive strategic decisions. Ideally, you bring experience from a B2B services or digital business environment, where you’ve learned to navigate complexity and work across functions. You are comfortable operating in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders, and you thrive in a role where collaboration, initiative, and business acumen are just as important as financial expertise.

Key Responsibilities

1. Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budgeting cycle and rolling forecasts
  • Validate assumptions and model financial scenarios
  • Communicate variances and propose adjustments to financial plans

2. Financial Reporting and Analysis

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports and dashboards
  • Conduct variance analysis on revenue, costs, and margins
  • Identify key financial drivers, risks, and performance trends for stakeholders

3. Business Partnering and Decision Support

  • Provide financial advice to operational and regional teams
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis for pricing, investments, and M&A opportunities
  • Translate financial data into clear, actionable business recommendations

4. Internal Controls and Compliance

  • Develop and enforce financial control procedures and approval workflows
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Oversee local risk management processes
