Join our team as a Senior Accountant!
Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to take the lead and make an impact? We’re looking for a skilled Senior Accountant who’s passionate about precision, process improvement, and financial excellence.

In this key role, you’ll oversee all accounting operations, ensure accuracy and compliance, and provide valuable insights to support strategic business decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with management and take ownership of monthly closings, reporting, and financial planning.

We require

• economical education – high school
• ideally 5 years experience on similar position
• knowledge of English (B2) and Czech
• Knowledge of Czech accounting standards and IFRS,
• Knowledge of Taxes (VAT and others)
• Accurate, self-control and self-reliance,
• Good team work at finance and other functional departments
• Independence, open communication
• Experience in production, international logistics (advantage)
• MS Excel - good level
• SAP - good knowledge (FI Key user role ideally)

Job content

• Managing all accounting activities of the plant including monitoring and analyzing of data and reconciliations with other ledgers
• Evidence of fixed assets and preparation of physical inventory check of fixed assets, oversee fixed assets budget in SAP system, monthly CAPEX reporting
• IFRS adjustments documentation and posting (esp. IFRS 16)
• Preparation financial closings and reporting: monthly, quarterly and yearly closing, including reporting to mother company and annual report
• Complete Taxes agenda (VAT, Income and other taxes)
• Establishing accounting methods and enforcement
• Process improvements in (not only) finance department
• Reporting to corporate management
