Technical Trainee - Mechanics

The position of a trainee in technical support will provide assistance to customers for the 3D printing service, help maintain customer relationships and ensure effective communication between departments within the company. This role will also involve supporting the production department by resolving issues related to the use of 3D printers, post-processing printed parts, planning print batches, and maintaining the 3D printing center. The trainee will also gain experience with 3D scanning and reverse engineering software.

YOUR CHALLENGES:

• Provide technical support to clients for the 3D print service, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of their queries and problems.
• Assist in maintaining good customer relations through effective communication and timely responses to client requests.
• Perform manual work with 3D printed parts, including handling, inspection, and post-processing.
• Plan and organize print batches to optimize machine usage and production efficiency.
• Carry out routine maintenance of the 3D printing center and peripheral equipment.
• Operate a 3D scanner and use reverse engineering software to support customer and internal projects.
• Help resolve issues related to the use of 3D printers and other peripheral equipment within the production department.
• Collaborate with other departments within the company to address customer concerns and improve overall efficiency.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills relevant to the role.

• Enrolment in a university program in engineering or another technical field.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in English language.
• Basic understanding of 3D printing technology and its applications.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
