Accounting Team Leader – AP/AR & Treasury

As part of the Innomotics business, we are looking for an experienced Accounting Team Leader – AP/AR & Treasury to lead a specialized accounting team responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Treasury activities. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality service delivery, driving operational excellence, and supporting the transformation of our accounting organization through process standardization, continuous improvement and future insourcing initiatives.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead, coach and develop a specialized AP, AR & Treasury accounting team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Coordinate and manage end-to-end accounting processes within the assigned scope, providing methodological support and resolving complex operational topics.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities, including IFRS reporting and statutory reporting requirements where applicable.
• Monitor operational performance through KPIs, identify risks and implement corrective actions to ensure service excellence.
• Drive process improvements, standardization initiatives and automation projects to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Lead or actively support transition, transformation and insourcing projects, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer and successful stabilization of operations.
• Support implementation of global accounting policies, guidelines, system enhancements and organizational changes.
• Cooperate closely with business stakeholders, Controlling, General Ledger, Tax, Business Services and other finance functions to ensure effective end-to-end processes.
• Support management and operational business in accounting, reporting, treasury, receivables and payables related topics.
• Oversee customer and supplier master data processes, dunning activities, credit management and cash management processes within the team scope.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
• Promote knowledge sharing, employee development and continuous learning across the team.

What we will appreciate from you:

• University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 3–5 years of people management experience.
• Strong practical experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and/or Treasury processes.
• Experience with accounting operations in an international environment.
• Experience with process transformation, shared services, transitions or insourcing projects is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of IFRS and accounting-related internal control systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
• Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment and drive change.
• Shared services/GBS/SSC transformation experience is an advantage.
• English is required; German is considered a strong advantage.

Other knowledge:

• Double-entry bookkeeping
• Microsoft Excel (advanced)
• SAP knowledge is highly preferred
• Experience with ERP implementations or finance digitalization projects is an advantage
