SW Team Leader - ADAS

Since 2013 we have been developing in our Prague R&D Center advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for smarter cars. In our R&D (Research & Development) Center in Prague we develop Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for intelligent cars.

In our R&D Center in Prague we are looking for an experienced and proactive Software Team Leader who combines strong technical expertise with natural leadership and a passion for improving systems, processes, and people.

You will lead a software team responsible for the development and maintenance of internal tools for ADAS system validation and data performance evaluation within an automotive environment, while ensuring reliable IT infrastructure operations and high-quality KPI tracking. This role requires someone who is hands-on, people-oriented, and driven to move things forward - a true “doer” with heart for automotive and team care.

YOUR CHALLENGES?

Team Management & Competency Development

• Manage a team of 12 engineers (yearly reviews, meetings, missions, objectives)
• Define the necessary qualifications and training plan for the team with the support of the management
• Allocate the team staff in the projects activities
• Propose trainings and career evolutions with the support of the management
• Contribute to the recruitment of the members of the department

Technical & Validation Activities

• Lead development of internal software tools, KPI calculations, and data evaluation
• Ensure correct validation and performance evaluation of automotive/ADAS systems
• Provide technical guidance and drive improvements and innovation

IT Infrastructure & Operations

• Oversee basic IT/network configuration and ensure reliable operation of related engineering PCs
• Coordinate ticketing and advanced IT support to maintain engineering productivity

Budget

• Propose and follow the budget for the team
• Responsible of the Team Efficiency Plan and achievements

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU...

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from a Technical University
• Proven experience leading a software or engineering team
• Experience in ADAS automotive development, validation environment, KPI automation or data evaluation systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of programming languages (Python, C, C++, Matlab)
• Experience with IT/network configuration and infrastructure management
• Ability to drive improvements and execute ideas
• Strong leadership skills, people management and team-care orientation
• Creative problem-solving ability, proactive and a results-driven mindset
• Passion for automotive engineering and innovation
