Automation Commissioning Engineer

We are actively looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with good knowledge of switchgear equipment and electrical circuits for food plant commissioning. You will be a key person during the production line startups for Bühler customers around the world.

What you will do with us:

• Take the lead and manage the project during commissioning with regular communications/reports on the commissioning progress.
• Assess the electrical installation and communicate with personal in charge to resolve any challenges timely.
• Parametrize and test equipment like field bus stations, scales, frequency converters, sensors, etc. to commission the production line.
• Ensure efficient operation of the production line by adjusting the process during the startup.

What you will need:

• Willingness to travel internationally (more than 80% of the time)
• Strong electrical background.
• Professional experience in ECAD is an advantage.
• Well trained in programming on Siemens TIA Portal is an advantage.
• Electrical education from an accredited school.
• Automation knowledge.
• MS Office standard (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
• Resilience to stressful situations.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good knowledge of English.
