Business Controller – Czech & Slovakia

We are currently looking for a NBS & MOD Business Controller with Sales & Operations Planning activities in Czech & Slovakia, to become a valued member of the Finance Business Controlling team at KONE. The frontline consists of 2 countries of Czech & Slovakia. This position offers a unique chance for energetic and enthusiastic professionals with a proven track record to play a valuable role. As a trusted business partner, you will contribute to the strategic development and operational excellence of New Building Solutions and Modernization division at KONE.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Acting as a finance business partner providing actionable management insight and guiding commercial decisions toward profitable growth
• Go beyond standard actuals understanding toward forward looking business development to influence business stakeholders decision-making and related execution.
• Ensuring accuracy of controlling activities such as budgeting, on time and high quality month end closing, actual results reporting (e.g. Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow etc) and forecast preparation incl. variance analysis
• Responsible for overall Order Book management & demand planning (units, value, margins etc.) with delivery operational team
• Support Delivery Operations, Project Managers, Supervisors on supply line side items in order book accuracy, quality and milestones management incl. installation resources management and planning.
• Support financial statement audit and internal control policies compliance and governance
• Support strategic and long-term planning, market & competitors analysis
• Continues process improvement and support implementation, adoption and constant improvement of the KONE Way processes.
• Provide advice and support to the finance and business community on reporting and accounting matters
• Management of finance master data and allocations methods incl. tendering tool alignment

Requirements:

• Relevant experience with similar position
• Master degree in Finance or Accounting. CIMA/ACCA qualifications or undergoing will be an asset
• Self-motivated and result driven personality, with strong project management skills
• Ability to influence and drive process improvements end-to-end
• Sound business acumen, demonstrated by ability to combine the key financial and commercial KPI’s with understanding of core business drivers and related challenges
• Excellent knowledge of Excel is a must
• Strong people skills to engage and influence non-finance peers & colleagues
• Good presentation & communication skills (incl. Power Point)
• Knowledge of SAP and related SAP Business Planning & Consolidation tool will be an asset
• Fluent command of English and Czech/Slovak (verbal and written) is a must
• Ability to operate in fast changing and matrix environment.
