Working Student – Product Management for Electrical Drives (f/m/d) - DPČ

Your Success is Grounded In:

• Being a student of electrical engineering, mechatronics, cybernetics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of drives, converters, or electric motors is a plus.
• Valid electrical qualification (according to Czech legislation) is an advantage.
• Interest in electrical drives and enthusiasm for hands-on testing and evaluation of Siemens and competitor drive technologies.
• Independence and the ability to organize your own time.
• Availability to work at least 2 days a week in the office for a minimum of 15 hours per week.

You’ll Make a Difference By:

• Learning about and understanding electrical drives.
• Collaborating closely with product managers in Prague and abroad.
• After gaining experience, supporting the team through: Technical support activities; Documentation processing within the PLM process; Assistance with marketing; strategy preparation, Other product management-related tasks
• Testing Siemens and competitor frequency converters in a laboratory environment, including:
• Functional and comparative testing
• Braking resistor testing
• Software configuration and commissioning
• Device connection, setup, and troubleshooting with support from experienced colleagues
• Conducting research and market analysis of global markets (in Europe, Asia, and America) and evaluating competitive drives in terms of functionality, features, and data.
• Preparing technical and marketing presentations and supporting sales activities.
