⚡Operations Support Manager in Automated Distribution Centre⚡

About this role:

We are seeking an On-site Operations Support Manager with a strong IT and systems background to lead both team development and ownership of the automation systems running the entire Distribution Center.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining operations, software systems, and automation. You will build and lead a technical team while ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of core warehouse systems (WCS/WMS and integrations).

You will act as a bridge between operations and engineering, driving reliability, resolving incidents, and scaling support processes across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and oversee on-site automation and software systems critical to operations.
• Lead and develop a technical support team (engineers/system specialists).
• Collaborate with IT, software engineering, and maintenance teams.
• Cooperate on building the processes and performance.
• Define standards for CMMS, maintenance planning, and system support.
• Monitor performance and identify risks and optimization opportunities.
• Provide technical input and recommendations to senior management.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience leading technical or engineering teams.
• Strong IT background (systems, software, automation, or similar).
• Experience with complex systems (WMS/WCS/automation platforms preferred).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work across technical and operational teams.
• Czech and English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
