Senior Manufacturing Technologist

Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Senior Manufacturing Technologist to join our team in Liberec, Czechia. This is an on-site role responsible for overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting production efficiency initiatives, and implementing engineering solutions to enhance performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of our production lines and contributing to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, optimize, and standardize manufacturing processes
• Identify process losses, root causes, and improvement opportunities
• Support production performance, cycle time optimization, and scrap reduction
• Cooperate with Quality on process capability, deviations, and corrective actions
• Support industrialization of new products and process changes
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Provide technical support and data‑driven problem solving for production issues
• Deputising for the Manufacturing Manager during his absence

Qualifications

• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering / Process Engineering
• Native‑level proficiency in Czech (spoken and written)
• Strong skills in process analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Knowledge of quality tools (e.g. SPC, FMEA, 8D, 5WHY, problem solving methods)
• Ability to work with production data and KPIs
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and structured approach
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement is a strong advantage
