Cash Manager Backoffice - PART TIME

The Role
As Cash Manager Backoffice, you ensure the reliable execution and transparency of international cash management and payment processes. You monitor and control daily liquidity, further develop cash management processes and systems, and take responsibility for regulatory reporting. In a global environment, you work closely with subsidiaries, banks, central functions and supervisory authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control daily liquidity at national and international level
• Manage bank accounts and payment transactions, including account overviews, payment approvals and reconciliations
• Daily settlement of FX derivatives: Netting, confirmation with banks and execution of payments
• Ensure high data and process quality within the cash management backoffice
• Prepare, coordinate and quality-assure regulatory reporting to central banks and supervisory authorities, for instance in connection with EMIR and AWV
• Analyze existing workflows and optimize treasury processes and systems
• Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization and contribute to their implementation
• Support in monthly closing activities

Your Qualifications

Professional Background and Expertise

• 3–5 years of professional experience in cash management, treasury, payment operations or a comparable finance function
• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Banking or a related field preferred, but not essential
• Alternatively, a comparable qualification gained through relevant professional experience
• Sound knowledge of international banking and payment transactions
• Experience with regulatory reporting and requirements, particularly EMIR and AWV
• Practical experience in process optimization, digitalization and automation projects in Treasury

Systems and Tools

• Treasury management system (preferably CORIMA by COPS)
• Banking portals, and payment platform
• Payment and interface systems, as well as reporting and automation tools

• Outstanding accuracy and reliability: errors can lead to significant, in some cases material, cash losses for the company
• Strong analytical and structured thinking, combined with a high affinity for numbers
• A very high level of personal responsibility, diligence and commitment to quality

• Strong communication and teamwork skills in an international environment
• Resilience, sound prioritization skills and confidence in handling time-critical tasks
• Interest in process digitalization and continuous improvement

Languages and Collaboration

• Very good written and spoken English
• Experience working with international subsidiaries, banks and central functions
• Regular collaboration with subsidiaries and local finance teams, banks and payment service providers, Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, IT, and ERP/treasury system owners
• Professional communication with central banks and supervisory authorities as part of regulatory reporting
