Head of Enterprise Applications & Automations

For a pan-European real estate developer and long-term owner of industrial and logistics assets, we are looking for a Head of Applications & Automations to lead the next phase of business technology development.

This role combines strategic ownership of the enterprise application landscape (ERP, CRM, HR, finance, ESG) with the delivery of new digital capabilities across multiple countries. You will oversee application development and integration, drive process improvement and automation, and identify opportunities to apply emerging technologies, including AI.

Working closely with leasing, finance, ESG, HR and operations, you will translate business needs into effective technology solutions, selecting the right approach based on business value, scalability and long-term sustainability.

Role scope:

• End-to-end ownership of enterprise business applications, including strategy, roadmap, stability and continuous improvement
• Leading application implementations, system integrations and the development of new digital solutions
• Managing the application portfolio, including priorities, budgets, vendors, contracts and technology decisions
• Partnering with leasing, finance, ESG, HR and operations to align technology initiatives with business needs
• Driving process digitalisation and automation through appropriate technologies, including system integrations, workflow platforms, low-code solutions and RPA
• Identifying and implementing practical AI use cases with measurable business value
• Building and developing a high-performing applications and automation team

What we're looking for:

• 8+ years of experience in technology roles, including leadership of application or digital teams
• Proven experience managing complex enterprise application portfolios, implementations and external technology partners
• Good understanding of application architecture, system integrations and enterprise technology environments
• Strong understanding of business processes, ideally across finance, leasing, HR, ESG or operations
• Experience delivering digital transformation and automation initiatives, with the ability to evaluate different technology approaches and select the most appropriate solutions
• Strong stakeholder management, commercial awareness and the ability to drive change in a multi-country environment
• Fluency in English
