Director of KAM

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Director of Key Account Management to join us at PPL CZ. As a key member of our Commercial Leadership Team reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you’ll have a great opportunity to shape our sales strategy, lead a talented group of Key Account Managers, and build lasting relationships with our biggest clients. What you’ll be doing?

• Leading the Team: Guide, mentor, and support a team of Key Account Managers, creating a positive and collaborative environment where everyone can do their best work.
• Driving Results: Organize and steer the department’s activities to ensure we consistently hit our KPIs and broader business goals.
• Coaching & Growth: Check in regularly on team performance, provide constructive feedback, and build action plans to help your team grow.
• Customer Focus: Join your team in the field for important client meetings and provide hands-on coaching along the way.
• Connecting the Dots: Team up with Marketing to align our strategies, share ideas, and push cross-selling opportunities.

What you bring to the table

• Experience: 8+ years in sales or business development, with a solid track record of leading and motivating a commercial team.
• Education: A degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong sales, negotiation, and project management abilities.
• Mindset: You’re an excellent communicator with a customer-first approach, and you keep a cool head even when things get busy.
• Languages: Fluent in both Czech and English, written and spoken.
• Tech: Comfortable working with MS Office and familiar with quality management systems.
