Order Handling Specialist

We are looking for an Order Handling Specialist to join our Order handling team.

In this role, you will support sales representatives, serve as a contact point for customers, and ensure smooth execution of the order management process from order entry through delivery coordination.

We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented professional who can collaborate effectively across functions and regions.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Order entry which includes:
• Open won quotes in Salesforce / Apttus, transfer them via BOL interface to SAP
• Ensure order acknowledgements are sent to customers in a timely manner
• Maintain personal list of orders including missing order acknowledgements, open blockers (e.g. credit blocks) & required clarifications
• Process changes orders initiated by customers and/or Sales
• Provide customers with information regarding delivery dates and order status
• Proactively communicate with customers regarding delayed deliveries or delivery-related questions.
• Align on delivery schedules and shorter delivery times with ABB factories
• Initiate and follow export control checks in line with company requirements
• Collaborate with the Order Handling Team Lead and local Tools Support to resolve possible master data issues and system/tool defects
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and timely communication.

Requirements:

• SAP knowledge
• Experience working in a sales area or customer service
• Fluent Czech, English and German language skills, both written and spoken, level B2
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
