O pozici
Being part of a finance team in a growing international company is rewarding - especially when you can see the full financial process end to end. We are looking for an Order to Cash Specialist to join our team and ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality execution across the entire O2C cycle.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you will contribute to the full Order-to-Cash process, combining billing, accounts receivable, and collections - as part of a collaborative team where responsibility is shared, not carried alone.
Your responsibilities will include:
Billing & invoicing
- Creating and issuing invoices based on client orders
- Handling invoice corrections and adjustments
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance in billing processes
Accounts receivable (AR)
- Monitoring open items and receivables
- Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Supporting month-end closing activities
Collections
- Sending payment reminders via SAP
- Communicating with clients via phone and email regarding outstanding payments
- Managing and prioritizing receivables based on risk and aging
- Resolving individual cases together with the team when needed
Customer communication
- Acting as a key contact for clients regarding invoicing and payments
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders across finance and business teams
Process improvement
- Identifying opportunities to improve O2C processes and ways of working
- Supporting automation and development initiatives
While you will have ownership of your tasks, you will work closely with colleagues across O2C, sharing knowledge, supporting each other, and ensuring the best outcomes together.
Working in an international team
Although the role is based in Prague and the billing and accounts receivable responsibilities focus on the Czech operations within Alma Career Czechia, you will join a truly international team.
We collaborate closely across borders, with team members located in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, and Finland. The team is led from Finland, and your manager will be based in Finland.
What are we looking for?
• Relevant education in finance, accounting, or economics, or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in billing, AR, collections, or full O2C process
• Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team
• Excellent communication skills with different types of stakeholders
• Fluent English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage
• Good working knowledge of Excel and standard office tools
