Finance Operations Support

We are part of Daimler Truck AG, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of commercial vehicles, specializing in trucks and buses.
Our Prague-based company is part of Aftersales division and focusing on logistics and quality of spare-parts, as well as retail support.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join us as Finance Operations Support on a part-time basis (approx. 24 hours per month). In this role, you will assist with checking and verifying financial records and supporting finance-related processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify the accuracy of data entered in SAP and compare it with internal records in MS Excel.
• Handle Purchase Orders, travel expense reports, and credit card files; check that all entries and tax codes are correct.
• Monitor Balance Sheet accounts; Ensure every posting is accurate and properly allocated.
• Control Profit & Loss accounts; Verify that all P&L transactions are recorded on the right GL accounts.
• Process vendor invoice; Make sure all supplier invoices are posted correctly for timely payments.

WHAT WE APPRECIATTE

• Fluent level in Czech and advanced English.
• Basic knowledge of Local GAAP.
• Knowledge of SAP is welcome but not required.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of responsibility and exceptional attention to detail.
• Background in finance or economics, ideally suited for students of finance or individuals on parental leave seeking flexible work.
