Senior C# Developer - Tech Lead

At Bulk Elemental Analysis (BEA), we develop and maintain software for Optical-Emission and X-Ray spectrometers. Our solutions are needed for our customers from metallurgy, cement, and mining industries to advance their technologies and products while becoming more energy-efficient, and environment-friendly.

We are looking for technically skilled engineer to help modernize our software architecture and drive forward innovation across our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive architectural modernization through PoCs, technical investigations, and proposed migration paths.
• Collaborate closely with product owners and internal users to deliver a robust, modern software platform.
• Mentor team members, introduce automation, and influence internal tooling strategy.
• Support both new feature development and maintenance of legacy systems.
• Study existing instruments to propose and implement improved solutions.
• Adopt modern tools and practices to enable Secure DevOps and streamline development.
• Learn the basics of the spectroscopy domain to understand application context.

Technologies we currently use

• Windows' desktop applications written in C#/.NET, C++, VB6, SQL.
• GitHub/GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JFrog
• VBA, Python, PowerShell, Windows batch files for small auxiliary tools

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Excellent command of English, proactivity, collaboration, passion
• Ability to present your ideas and disseminate those within your team
• Willingness to learn basics of Optical and X-Ray spectroscopy
