Strategic Buyer

Strategic Buyer to join our team, who will be responsible for managing the entrusted commodity, developing the supplier base, and ensuring long-term effective purchasing solutions.

What will be your task?

• Creation and implementation of a purchasing strategy for the entrusted commodity.
• Search, evaluation and development of new and existing suppliers.
• Conducting price, commercial and contractual negotiations.
• Management of tenders and sourcing projects.
• Analysis of the market, price trends and technological developments.
• Ensuring the availability of materials and minimizing risks in the supply chain.
• Monitoring supplier performance and setting corrective actions.
• Cooperation with development, quality, production, logistics and planning departments.
• Support for new product introduction (NPI) projects.
• Identification of opportunities for cost reduction and supplier portfolio optimization.
• Management of contract documentation and related data in the SAP system.

Who are we looking for?

• You have a secondary school/university education in a technical or economic field.
• You have at least 3-5 years of experience in strategic purchasing.
• You are familiar with supply chains and sourcing processes.
• You have experience in negotiating business terms and contracts.
• You communicate well and are able to build long-term relationships.
• You can analyze data and make decisions based on facts.
• You are proficient in SAP system and MS Office.
• English is not a problem for you and you can handle everyday communication with foreign partners.
• You are independent, proactive and know how to set priorities.

What else will we appreciate?

• Knowledge of the market and suppliers in the field of metal parts, plastics, electronics or other manufacturing commodities.
• Knowledge of another foreign language.
• Experience from a manufacturing company and an international environment.
