As Service Line Manager for Sales, After Sales & Collection Services at our Business Line “MarCom, Sales and Delivery” you will be responsible for sales support teams (+60 colleagues) in our GBS Central Eastern Europe hub.

In addition, you will as well resume global responsibility for Sales & After Sales topics in the other GBS Hubs (Portugal, India, Americas)

What are the main tasks of the Service Line Manager?

Take care of day-to-day operations at Sales, After Sales & Collection teams

  1. Siemens contact center, sales support, offer making, CPQ, inside sales, bid- and proposal management
  2. After Sales-, Customer Services- and Managed Services such as Integrated Service Desk, technical services incl. remote-, field services, commissioning, installation, spare part management
  3. Credit & Collection Services: Credit Risk Management, Web Portal Invoice Management, Cash Collection (incl. Dunning and Dispute Management)
  • You lead the teams responsible for delivering the designated services. You provide direction, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
  • You drive the financial management with taking the responsibility for managing the budget
  • You track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the performance
  • You key priority is to drive continuous improvement & digitalization
  • You understand stakeholders' needs, addressing concerns, and maintaining positive relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • You proactively drive further business gorwth
  • You drive leadership & people development incl. training, communication & retention to ensure a great people experience in your service line
  • In additiona you get global role for Sales & After Sales Services where you will focus:
  • Standardisation of portfolio for Sales Services and After Sales Services globally
  • Driving this Community across regions, facilitating global best practice sharing
  • Supporting global KPI implementation and performance reviews
  • Engaging with the regions in support of growth & supporting global projects

What do we expect from the Service Line Manager?

  • Strong orientation towards professional service delivery to customers; strong drive and ability to inspire & motivate others; proactive & able to make decisions; proven management experience
  • Good understanding of Sales & After Sales processes (Bid Management, Order & Contract Management, Customer Support, Field Operations Support, Credit & Collections and similar) in -medium -large international company; experience from Shared/Business Services is a benefit
  • Fluent in English, German is an advantage; you bring a mix of strong analytical skills, excellent communication, negotiation skills and presentation finesse
  • Good knowledge in large organizations.
  • IT affinity and proven track of digitalization
  • Ability to work independently and to work in an agile and project-based environment;
  • Well-organized and self-motivated person (organizational skills, time management, decision making, adaptability and growth mindset)
