2026 Summer Internship (CZ) -Component Supply

The Component Supply Planning team is responsible for ensuring the timely supply of components used in the production of all Zebra products. The team collaborates closely with internal partners, including Global Supply, Direct Procurement, and the Supply Assurance & Communication teams. Externally, the team maintains strong relationships with Zebra's Tier 2 suppliers and is structured by commodity type.

A critical function of the team is its role in our Part Shortage Management (PSM) process, a system designed to rapidly identify, escalate, and resolve part shortages to protect our ability to meet customer requirements.

This individual will help to build up the team and will use tools and processes to work on shortages with external suppliers and come up with process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the PSM (Part Shortage Management) process and system
• Participate in the weekly Supply Assurance call where we review all critical component supply shortages; providing update on shortage parts
• Partner up and established functional relationship with selected Zebra Tier 2 suppliers and Direct Procurement team to operationally resolve component shortages based on Tier 1 suppliers’ data and expectations
• PO management for BTS team
• Data management/support for the team
• Support of team members in team especially connected with operational

Qualification

• Strong communication skills (listening, providing clear and concise information, using proper language and grammar)
• Fluent level of English (written and verbal) as well as local language as applicable
• Data driven person with attention to detail
• Strong process adherence
• Continuous learning/self-development mindset
• Structured person with continues improvement mindset
• Working knowledge MS tools – Excel, Outlook, Word
• ERP system knowledge is a plus ( Oracle, Siebel)
