Automation Technical Support Engineer (No Travel Required)

As an automation technical specialist you will provide technical expertise to support our sales teams and customers during the presales phase by providing expert guidance on ABB’s state-of-the-art Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

Your role and responsibilities:

• Technical Presales Support: Provide technical guidance to sales teams without engaging in commercial negotiations
• Collaborate Globally: Collaborate with cross-functional global teams, including product management, R&D, and ABB front-end organizations
• Enhance Technical Competence: Continuously develop your expertise in ABB’s DCS product portfolio
• Low travel requirements

Qualifications for the role

• Experience in process automation.
• Core Expertise: Knowledge of System 800xA, Industrial Communication: Understanding of Ethernet, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Modbus.
• High School / Bachelor’s degree/ University degree in a relevant field (Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science)
• Fluent English language skills.
