Investment Analyst - Private Equity

Our Client is a dynamic and established Private Equity Investments firm active in CE. It has a strong track record in private equity investments across various sectors. Our Client is expanding its Investments team and is now hiring for an ambitious Investment Analyst to join its team in Prague.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for M&A / PE / Investments segment + you should have studied or near completed studies in similar fields (ie. PE, M&A, Investments, Divestments).

Our client is hiring someone for a long-term outlook and you should have the same vision for your career path, for example; 3 years as an Investment Analyst, then a further 3 years as an Associate – this can lead to being appointed a VP. You should be flexible for some travel, based in Prague – Czechia.

Your key tasks / responsibilities >>

* Involvement in the Full Investment Cycle Deal Sourcing & Evaluation
• Support the identification and analysis of new investment opportunities
• Conduct industry and market research, benchmarking, and competitive analysis Financial Analysis & Valuation
• Prepare and maintain valuation models (DCF, LBO)
• Assist with financial due diligence and data room reviews Investment Committee Support
• Contribute to the creation of investment memoranda and internal presentations
• Participate in transaction structuring and internal decision-making discussions Portfolio Management
• Support financial oversight and assist with financing negotiations for portfolio companies
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, cash flow, and strategic updates Collaboration & Learning
• Work closely with senior professionals, including partners
• Learn through hands-on deal exposure in a flat and collaborative team environment


Ideal background for the role >>

• A strong interest in private equity, investing, and business strategy
• Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (completed or nearing completion)
• Up to 1 years of relevant experience (e.g., internships or practical experiences in IB, PE, CF, transaction services or top-tier consulting/"Big 4")
• Fluency in both Czech / Slovak and English (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
