IT Support Specialist

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide on-site operational IT support in a manufacturing environment in Uherský Brod. The role covers end-user and production IT support, as well as collaboration at the IT/OT interface and support for digitalization initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and Windows/Linux environments
• Familiarity with OT environments (SCADA/MES) is a plus
• Understanding of ITIL / service management frameworks (e.g. ServiceNow)
• Knowledge of the local language (Czech) is an advantage
• Degree in IT or equivalent professional experience (preferred)
  

Our Requirements
Operational IT Support

• On-site IT support including hardware swaps, network patching, and non-standard configurations
• Support of production IT systems (MES clients, scanners, printers, edge devices)
• Ensuring compliance with corporate IT security standards
  

IT/OT Integration & Digitalization Support

• Support system connectivity (SCADA, MES, OPC Router)
• Line-side IT/OT integration for production systems
• Configuration and backup of industrial PCs, HMIs, and gateways
  

Lifecycle Management & Procurement

• Hardware lifecycle management (installation, replacement, disposal)
• Coordination of local IT procurement activities
• CMDB and IT asset updates
• Support audit readiness and compliance activities
