Th e Penalties & Promo Sr. Specialist (French / Dutch) is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate controls across commercial areas including discounts, bonuses and pricing disputes, helping to ensure there are no financial surprises in these areas.

The role is also accountable for targets relating to accruals, reconciliations, overdue items and commercial losses for the relevant scope, as well as contractual service level agreements with internal and external clients.

This is a full-time, office-based role, working 5 days a week from our AB InBev office in Prague.

What you will be doing:

• Own the end-to-end process for Promo invoice booking and monitor related deductions
• Review contracts, ERP records, accruals and invoices to ensure accurate invoicing and accrual bookings
• Map invoices to corresponding accruals and validate outstanding accruals calculated by FP&A
• Perform daily controls through the early-warning system, analyzing gaps in open orders related to pricing, discounts and/or taxes
• Execute the required Month-End Closure (MEC), Quarterly Controls and annual Final Settlement activities
• Initiate periodic and year-end customer reconciliations
• Review existing processes, identify gaps and support improvements that increase efficiency within the team

What you'll bring:

• Fluent English, with French or Dutch highly desirable; other European languages are also an advantage
• At least 1 year of business or finance experience , such as FP&A, Revenue Management, Dispute Management, Financial Audit or Financial Control
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent relevant experience
• Understanding of accruals processes and discount management
• Understanding of finance and commercial processes and key deadlines, such as monthly closing routines and annual price increases
• Experience working with commercial stakeholders
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Relevant SAP experience is an advantage
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to track and manage information, data and communications effectively
• Ability to manage priorities and deliver within deadlines
• Proactive approach to investigating issues, identifying root causes and proposing solutions to prevent recurrence
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good commercial awareness
