Junior IT Engineer

We are looking for a Junior IT Engineer to join our team in Brno! In this role, you will work closely with experienced IT professionals to support and maintain customer IT environments, resolve technical issues, and participate in infrastructure projects. You'll gain hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, virtualization platforms, networking, and security while continuously developing your technical skills.

What you can look forward to:

• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with support from experienced colleagues.
• Assisting with the maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of customer IT environments.
• Participating in infrastructure projects and internal IT initiatives.
• Configuring and maintaining network components and related services.

Key Requirements:

• Basic practical experience in IT infrastructure administration, technical support, helpdesk, internships, or a similar technical role.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows clients and servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SQL, Radius, and IIS.
• Basic knowledge of virtualization platforms such as Microsoft Azure, VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox.
• Understanding of LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network concepts.
• Understanding of information security concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring and management tools is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of software and hardware deployment and management.
• Strong willingness to learn new technologies and continuously develop technical skills.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with the wider team.
• Fluency in Czech (C2) and English (B2).
• Strong communication skills, reliability, flexibility, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach.
