Head of Data Center Projects

Are you an experienced infrastructure professional ready to take responsibility not only for technology, but also for people, projects and business results?

We are looking for a strong and experienced Head of Data Center Projects to lead our DCP department across Brno and Prague. Someone who understands enterprise infrastructure, can lead technical experts and project teams, make independent decisions and take full responsibility for successful delivery.

This is not a narrowly focused Service Manager role. We are looking for someone with a broad understanding of data center technologies, ideally gained in technical consulting, architecture or presales, who is ready to move into a senior leadership position.

What will you do?

• Lead and develop the Data Center Projects department, its people, priorities and long-term direction.
• Take responsibility for the delivery of infrastructure projects across compute, storage, virtualization, backup, cloud and hybrid cloud.
• Lead technical specialists and project teams, ensuring that agreed plans, deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Build relationships with strategic customers and work closely with Sales, Presales, Team Leaders and Service Managers on complex solutions and customer needs.
• Develop the department’s portfolio and drive standardization, automation and the adoption of new technologies.
• Manage cooperation with key technology vendors and partners.
• Take responsibility for capacity, financial performance, profitability and key departmental results.
• Report directly to the Business Unit General Manager.

What are we looking for?

• Strong experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, ideally gained in consulting, architecture, presales or a comparable technical role.
• Experience coordinating or leading technical specialists or cross-functional project teams.
• The ability to understand complex assignments, turn them into clear plans and take responsibility for successful delivery.
• A decisive and consistent approach, including the confidence to make independent and sometimes difficult decisions.
• Experience working with strategic customers, technology vendors and business partners.
• The ability to balance technical quality, customer needs and commercial objectives.
• Native-level Czech and professional English.
• Willingness to work regularly from both Brno and Prague.
