We're looking for a C++ Gameplay Programmer to join the team behind Magic Madness VR and CQB Reloaded — two VR titles in active development at Victoria VR, our Prague-based studio.

About Victoria VR

We're a Prague-based VR studio building two titles side by side.

Magic Madness VR is our flagship PvP multiplayer title — up to four players battle using the elemental powers of fire, water, earth, metal and wood, each with a distinct playstyle: fire (destruction), water (adaptability), earth (defense), metal (precision), wood (support). Built in Unreal Engine 5 for PC VR, launched on Steam in March 2025, now in active development with new content, balancing, and a standalone VR port on the way.

CQB Reloaded is a full-scale tactical shooter for Meta Quest, building on the success of CQB Training Arena (100,000+ players trained). Reloaded is a complete expansion, not a patch — bringing squad co-op missions, expanded PvP combat, new weapons and tactical gear, brand-new maps and modes, and AI-driven enemy and hostage scenarios.

Your Role

You'll work on core gameplay and engine-level systems for one of these titles — the fit will be determined during the interview process based on your background and interests. You'll be working close to the engine level and won't be limited to a narrow feature set — we're looking for someone who:

• understands real-time systems and performance constraints
• is comfortable working with complex Unreal Engine systems
• can take ownership of their part of the product

What You'll Work On

• Developing core gameplay systems in Unreal Engine 5 (C++, Blueprints)
• Implementing spells, abilities, movement and combat logic — or tactical weapon, AI, and mission systems, depending on assigned project
• Working with multiplayer systems and live synchronization
• Optimizing performance for VR environments
• Building and improving editor and debug tools
• Collaborating with designers and technical artists

What We're Looking For

• Good C++ skills and experience with Unreal Engine 4/5
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine workflows and Blueprints
• Previous game development experience (ideally action / multiplayer titles)
• Understanding of multiplayer networking models
• Self-reliant and responsible approach
• Availability to work on-site in Prague

Bonus Points / Nice to Have

• Experience with VR projects, motion controllers or room-scale gameplay
• Knowledge of UE replication and networking
• Background in real-time tools or live service games
