Who we are:

ALSTREAM Services SE is a part of the international group settled in Switzerland.

We closely cooperate with international trader with primary aluminium DK Trade AG our sister company.

Our focus is on the non-ferrous metal market, whereby particularly on the Aluminium market, we provide essential trading logistic and financial solutions valued by our clients.

We are a highly experienced team based on top management and trader job experiences, with over 10 years of history in the Aluminium business and leadership in the aluminium business.

We operate in the main seaports of Europe:

· Rotterdam

· Vlissingen

· Szczecin

· Trieste

· Bilbao

· St. Petersburg

· Gebze, etc.

We are securing a full range of services:

- Deliveries JIT to the end customer plant

- Customs clearance procedures

- Consignment warehouses

- The cooperation between DK Trade and ALSTREAM consists in DK Trade managing the supply chain up to the European stock (Inc. Financing), while ALSTREAM manages „the last miles “, especially for Eastern Europe and Spain

We have built a new small team in the Czech Republic with an office in Brno.

We speak English, German, Swiss-German, French, Russian, Belarussian, Italian, Czech and Spanish.

Purpose of the role and Your responsibilities

A. Develop, organise and support of national and international multi-modal logistics for deliveries of aluminium products to customers (sea container, break-bulk, trucking, combination of these modes) according to the sales strategy of the Company

B. Participate on Customs Clearance procedure, cooperate with accounting, administration and fiscal representatives within preparation of documents, payments and releases.

C. Generate analytical, statistical and financial reporting

D. Participate in the Company’s programmes and projects targeting constant improvement in performance of logistics services provided to the customers by the Company and reducing their costs.

As a member of the small international team, you will manage the efficient movement of goods through our logistics networks ((sea container, break-bulk, trucking, or a combination of these modes) to ensure material availability. Your primary tasks in this position will include:

- Provide with commercial, operational, documentary and analytical support in deliveries of aluminium in Europe, namely:

timely provide with operational, statistical, financial reporting and analysis
arrange for tenders on logistical services
timely issue contract and tender documentation
daily liaison (written and verbal) with other parts of DK and external logistical companies to fulfil the above responsibilities.
- Check and arrange for payment invoices for logistical services, conduct mutual account reconciliations.


Constantly and closely liaise with participants of logistic chains – forwarders, warehouses, ship-owners, container lines, trucking companies, surveyors, agents, etc.

· Guarantee the smooth execution of all areas of transportation for daily operations

· Perform customer service tasks, e.g. managing transport orders, communication with customers/partners/Swiss HQ

· Handle shipping exceptions while ensuring that information flows to the customer and other relevant parties involved

· Support continuous optimization of our customers’ logistics networks

· Administration of invoices, and documentation in the accounting system

Your profile

· Relevant practical experience in the transportation industry and a high focus on customer service

· Ability to quickly prioritize during busy periods while still communicating proactively in a friendly and solution-oriented way

· Experienced user of MS Office with strong communication skills in English, additional languages are highly appreciated: Russian, German, French and Spanish.

· You are interested in the field of logistics and enjoy working in a small team and in a dynamic and international environment
