FINANCE MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team and take full responsibility for the financial management of our companies while serving as a key partner to senior management in strategic decision-making.

We are a small Czech company operating in the energy sector, specializing in the development and operation of hydroelectric power plants.

Responsibililies:

• Full responsibility for the financial management of the Group’s companies (United Kingdom, Italy, Czech Republic)
• Management of debt servicing and communication with banks and financial institutions (United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic)
• Preparation of budgets, financial plans, and regular financial reporting
• Coordination of financial processes across the holding structure
• Cash flow management and ensuring the company’s financial stability
• Communication with external accountants and auditors in multiple countries
• Updating and maintaining financial models
• Handling matters related to the Group’s operations, including group structure optimization, mergers, and acquisitions
• Cooperation with tax advisors and legal counsels (experience with international advisors is an advantage)

Requirements:

• Knowledge of accounting and tax regulations (VAT, Corporate Income Tax)
• Experience with financial closing processes and financial reporting
• Understanding of banking products and debt financing
• Knowledge of international business environments (particularly the United Kingdom and Italy) and experience working within holding structures is an advantage
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-company environment
• Experience with intercompany transactions is an advantage
• University degree
• Strong analytical skills, independence, and a high sense of responsibility
• Excellent command of English
