Are you a detail-oriented finance enthusiast with a passion for numbers? Do you excel at spotting discrepancies or are you a master of managing client relationships through billing? At the Augustine Hotel Prague, we are looking for a versatile Accounting Clerk to join our team.
Depending on your strengths and professional interests, your focus can be directed towards Accounts Receivable (managing our client accounts and collections) or Income Audit (overseeing daily revenue integrity). WHAT YOU WILL DO
Tailor your Path: Depending on your specialization, you will focus on one of these key areas:
- Income Auditor: Review and verify all daily revenue transactions, ensuring all financial reports from various outlets are accurate and compliant.
- Accounts Receivable: Manage the full cycle of guest and corporate billing, from issuing invoices to monitoring aging reports and ensuring timely payments.
- Financial Accuracy: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in daily shifts, credit card reconciliations, or guest accounts.
- Compliance: Maintain organized financial records and ensure all procedures align with Marriott International standards.
- Support: Assist the Finance department with month-end closing procedures and daily financial tasks.
YOUR PROFILE
- Experience: Proven experience in an accounting or finance role (previous hotel experience is a plus, but not a requirement).
- Choice of Expertise: You have a natural leaning towards either meticulous auditing (Income Audit) or structured billing and communication (AR).
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail and a "detective" spirit when it comes to reconciling numbers.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Czech.
- Professionalism: A confidential, ethical, and straightforward approach, identifying with being passionate for European luxury.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with hotel systems (like Opera) is a great advantage.
