Are you a university student with an interest in finance and accounting and looking to gain hands-on experience in an international environment?

As a PtP Trainee, you will become part of a professional finance team, where you will support daily accounting operations while learning how Purchase-to-Pay processes work in practice. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and grow your career alongside experienced colleagues.

Your Mission

In this role, you will support the Purchase-to-Pay (PtP) team with daily operational tasks and ongoing improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing transactions such as invoices and credit notes using OCR tools (Cosmoz)
  • Posting invoices into the accounting system on a daily and timely basis, ensuring correct GL accounts and cost center allocation
  • Processing supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Supporting month-end activities and basic reporting
  • Participating in improvement, optimization, and ad-hoc projects
  • Supporting more senior colleagues with daily tasks and special assignments

Your Profile

You are a motivated and detail-oriented student who is eager to learn and develop within finance and accounting. You enjoy working with data, are not afraid to ask questions, and can work both independently and as part of a team.

  • University student, preferably in economics or a related field, available to work 20 hours per week
  • Basic knowledge of accounting is an advantage
  • Fluent English is required; Czech language skills are considered a plus
  • Good Excel skills and interest in working with data
  • Knowledge of accounting systems is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and good communication skills

Location and Travel

This position is based in Prague, Czech Republic.
The role is primarily office-based during the first months, with the possibility to work from home up to one day per week after the onboarding period. No travel is required.
