At Howden Re CEE & CIS, we are expanding our Prague team and seeking a skilled Reinsurance Broker with at least 4 years of experience in the reinsurance market. If you enjoy client-facing work, negotiating placements, and shaping tailored reinsurance solutions, this role is for you.
🔑 What You Will Do
🤝 Manage and develop a portfolio of reinsurance clients
🤝 Structure, negotiate, and place reinsurance programs
🤝 Work with domestic & international (re)insurers
🤝 Provide market insights and strategic recommendations
🤝 Support business development and help identify new opportunities
🤝 Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless service
🧠 What We Expect
✔️ Minimum 4 years of experience in treaty reinsurance (broking, underwriting)
✔️Driven and accountable colleague who takes pride in her/his work; we encourage growth!
✔️ Solid technical understanding of reinsurance structures
✔️ Strong communication & negotiation skills
✔️ Ability to lead placements independently
✔️ English fluency (other language is a plus)
✔️ Based in or willing to relocate or commute to Prague
