O pozici
Turner and Townsend in CEE region are now opening a legal entity in Czech Republic and therefore expanding their HR team. We are seeking a professional HR Generalist (part-time). This is a generalist and hands-on role, reporting into the CEE HR Lead, located in Prague, Czech Republic. Preferred start date: 1 May 2026.
Main purpose of the role
Provide comprehensive support for a Team of about 50 Colleagues in the employment area. Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices. Support organizational culture and employee engagement through effective HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process and deliver engaging new-hire orientations to ensure a great start for all new employees.
- Employee Relations: Act as the go‑to HR contact for employees, collaborating with the EMEA HR team when needed to resolve questions and concerns.
- Compensation & Benefits: Administer local benefits programs, ensure compliance with Czech regulations, and support annual compensation cycles.
- Policies & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Czech labor law and local employment regulations. Keep policies updated and manage contracts, working time, H&S requirements, and termination processes.
- Training & Development: Support the coordination of learning initiatives, training sessions, and career development activities.
- Performance Management: Help run performance review cycles, track progress, and ensure timely completion in line with global guidelines.
- HR Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate HR records, update databases, and communicate changes promptly to the external payroll provider.
- Health & Safety: Support H&S compliance, wellness initiatives, and coordination of occupational health activities.
- Employee Engagement: Assist the country lead with events, engagement programs, surveys, and follow-up actions.
- HR Administration: Prepare employment documents, manage contracts, support immigration processes, and handle HR correspondence.
- HR Projects: Contribute to HR projects by providing local insights and supporting implementation.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of HR experience in the Czech Republic, with exposure to multiple HR areas.
- Strong knowledge of Czech labor law and local employment regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and personal integrity.
- Hands-on, proactive approach and strong organizational skills.
- Fluent Czech and English (spoken and written).
- Valid Czech work and residence permit.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
