COMPANY OVERVIEW
PayRose (formerly known as Cyberstar) is a Prague-based regulated payment institution preparing its application for a Large Payment Institution license (PI) with Czech National Bank. Our business model is transaction-volume driven and includes high-volume payment flows, safeguarding accounts, and future crypto on-/off-ramp integrations.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Back Office Specialist is responsible for operational processing, reconciliation, safeguarding, monitoring and administrative control of processes within a regulated payment institution. The role supports transaction integrity, financial accuracy and regulatory reporting readiness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily reconciliation of payment flows and safeguarding accounts
- Monitoring incoming and outgoing transactions
- Internal control of settlement processes
- Support in regulatory reporting preparation
- Handling chargebacks and operational payment issues
- Coordination with safeguarding bank partners
- Documentation of operational procedures
- Assisting Finance and Compliance departments
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- either
o Master’s degree OR
o Secondary/Bachelor/higher professional education plus at least 1 year experience in a financial institution
- Solid understanding of financial markets
- Basic knowledge of regulatory framework for payment institutions
- Understanding of safeguarding principles
- Strong attention to detail
- Structured and process-oriented mindset
- Czech language (fluent spoken and written)
- English language (fluent spoken and written)
NICE TO HAVE (not a must)
- Experience in back office or operations within a financial institution
- Crypto-asset operational understanding
- Accounting and reporting knowledge
- Experience in fintech or payments
- Familiarity with reconciliation processes
- German language
