Your Role as AR Team Lead

As our Accounts Receivable Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and ensuring the delivery of a high-performing AR team. This role is perfect for someone who excels at motivating people, optimizing processes, and ensuring financial accuracy.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and support a team of our colleagues in the Accounts Receivable team
• Oversee the follow-up of outstanding balances and ensure efficient collection processes
• Drive improvements and standardization across Accounts Receivable workflows
• Build strong relationships with franchise owners, stores, and financial institutions
• Monitor KPIs, team workload, and performance targets
• Oversee month-end reporting, reconciliations, and audit preparation
• Support and/or lead AR-related projects, including automation and system improvements
• Support onboarding of new stores and ensure smooth integration into AR processes
• Ensure compliance with Elkjøp’s accounting principles and internal guidelines

Who We Think You Are

• You have proven experience in people leadership, preferably within AR or finance
• You enjoy coaching and developing people, and you build strong, collaborative teams
• You understand accounting principles; accounting courses or certifications (e.g. ACCA modules) are a plus
• You have experience with project management, process improvements, or change initiatives
• Knowledge of Elkjøp’s systems and processes (SAP, VIC, Power BI, MS Excel) is a strong advantage
• You communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders
• You work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• You are fluent in English – a Nordic language is a bonus
