Our Prague branch specializes in reinsurance solutions for Central & Eastern Europe, providing tailor-made programs for insurance companies and partnering with global reinsurers. The role offers exposure to a wide range of activities, including reinsurance accounting, claims handling, financial analysis, projects involvement, monitoring, reporting, analysis and many others where we seek additional support. Part of your job will also include communication with clients, reinsurers and all other teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage reinsurance contracts, including the wordings and then loading them to the internal ERP
• Communicate with external stakeholders regarding compliance and regulations
• Close cooperation with the accounting team to ensure correct payment flows
• Manage processing of the reinsurance documentation for external parties
• Close cooperation with European Howden branches - opportunity to visit those offices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Finance or related field preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of French, Spanish, German or Czech is an advantage).
• Prior experience or knowledge of insurance/reinsurance is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a mathematical mindset.
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
