IT Administrator

In this role, you will be responsible for the incoming incidents of our international and national users, provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions provided by global IT and help the global network team in case of issues that requires physical activities. Tasks include end user support, license tracking, and performing PC maintenance, upgrades, configuration and installations of OS system.

Special requirement: You are responsible for two locations. Your “home base” is located in Lomnice nad Popelkou (CZ). The second location is in Neugersdorf (DE).

Responsibilities:

• - Expansion and support of the IT infrastructure if requestd by global IT
• - Maintenance of the company network in line with the definition of the global network team
• - System availability and troubleshooting
• - Preparation of system documentation
• - 1st / 2nd level support
• - Participation in internal IT projects
• - Provide user-helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
• - Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
• - Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority
• - Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation in line with global IT definition
• - Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software
• - Document internal procedures
• - Assist with onboarding of new users
• - Assist with offboarding of leaving employees
• - Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software and support during the hardware replacement process driven by global IT
• - Support inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
• - Report issues to the back-end support escalation
• - Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
• - Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
