Core Competence Areas We Are Looking For

• Local native Czech for Junior positions is required.
• Design and development of load-bearing components and structural parts in 2D/3D.
• Creation of manufacturing and assembly drawings, including proper dimensioning and tolerancing towards the manufacturing process and functionalities. Good understanding of GDT.
• Manufacturing engineering design among sheet metals, fasteners, mechanisms.
• 2D/3D CAD modeling, including part and assembly-level design skills:
• Sheet metal structural design, machining design, interface and tolerance chain analysis, configurable design
• Basic understanding of configuration rules programming
• Awareness of manufacturing technologies: sheet metal, bolted joints, roll forming, deep drawing
• Understanding and ability to apply the principles of Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly is an asset.
• Basic understanding of value engineering (Design for Cost/Functionality/Quality)
• Experience with PDM/PLM systems (e.g. PDM/VC, Windchill) is required at certain level.
• Understanding of the change request (CR) / PCM process is an advantage
• Understanding of Six sigma basics, SPC and process capability is an advantage.
• A product development mindset and continuous improvement approach.
• Basic understanding of product testing requirements; ability to design testing jigs is an advantage.
• A self-driven and proactive working style, with willingness to take true ownership of assigned components, once familiar with the task—without the need for constant micromanagement.
• Good communication skills to present own project outputs to colleagues and main stakeholders; pro-actively clearing up potential misunderstandings.
