As a Transport Planning Specialist , you will be responsible for ensuring that containers with beer are loaded on time and without additional costs, delivered safely to the final destination, and according to the customer's specifications.
You will closely coordinate with the inventory deployment team regarding beer availability and stock freshness, warehouses, carriers, and the documentation team. Utilizing your planning and organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to handle stress will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
- Secure space on vessels by sending booking requests to carriers within defined deadlines.
- Follow up on ocean bookings and make necessary arrangements.
- Ensure data quality in the system.
- Drive continuous process improvement.
- Coordinate any ad-hoc issues and requests from your line manager.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Provide input on performance issues with carriers or loading sites.
- Offer visibility on the performance of external suppliers.
- Collaborate with the International Team of the Exporting Zone and the Global Team.
- Report key performance indicators (KPIs) and take actions to improve service quality.
- Act as a backup for the line manager when needed.
Qualifications and Technical Competencies Required:
Education & Experience:
- Graduate degree.
- Logistics Experience in an ideally FMCG Company for at least 1-2 years is a plus.
- Experience in Supply chain overall and in Logistics Transport or Warehousing is a plus.

- Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Technical Competencies:
- Excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
- SAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills are a plus.
- Beginner level of Power BI, Power Query is a plus.
Language Skills:
- Fluent in English.
