Finance & HR Administrator (f/m/d) FNF Central Europe
As of April 1, 2026, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) is seeking to fill a full-time position as a Finance & HR Administrator in its Prague office, which is responsible for the Central European region. The position is for 40 hours per week and is limited until December 31, 2027 (with potential extension).
Your activities in detail:
- Advising the team on financial matters in accordance with the funding guidelines of the German funding agencies and the requirements of the Foundation's office in Germany (as this is a very specific area, the necessary training is provided)
- Detailed planning and monthly monitoring of the budgets
- Checking of all expenditures for compliance with funding guidelines and payment of invoices via online banking
- Cash management
- Accounting of all expenditures via the online accounting system Dynamics Business Central (training is provided)
- Document processing of all payment-relevant documents
- Maintaining permanent files and entering documents in internal software
- (DokuWare - training is provided)
- Keeping the personnel files of the local employees and preparation of the salary payments for the payroll company
- Contact and correspondence with all service providers relevant to personnel administration
Requirements:
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with financial and personnel administration topics
- Proven knowledge of financial and personnel administration (in accordance with Czech law and Czech Labour Code) is an advantage
- Affinity for numbers
- Experience in the administration of public funds an advantage
- Fluent (native speaker level) in Czech (or Slovak)
- Very good knowledge of English or German
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (esp. Excel) and accounting or ERP software (preferably Microsoft Dynamics – trainings can be provided)
- Willingness to learn software programs (e.g. accounting, ERP and document digitization)
- Flexibility, team spirit, proactivity, reliability and diligence
