Our team of 400 professionals specializes in power trading, transforming complex data into market-leading trading strategies through advanced technology and sophisticated quantitative modelling.

We are currently seeking a Lead accountant responsible for overseeing accounting operations for our holding entities within Czech Republic. In this role, you will be responsible for a couple of entities that hold shares within our group. You coordinate and manage full accounting, and you would have one junior accountant to support you. You will be obliged to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely records and monthly closing.

What would you work on?

  • Manage full accounting operations for defined legal entities.
  • Responsible for month-end closing processes, B/S reconciliations.
  • Support and mentor junior accountants, advising and developing.
  • Some G/L entries postings.
  • Communicate with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal group policies.

What makes you a great candidate?

  • University degree in accounting or finance-related areas.
  • 5 years of work experience in the same or similar position.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive approach and teamwork.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizing abilities.
  • Focus on delivery and deadlines.
  • Experience from fast growing environment is a big plus.
  • Fluency in Czech and communicative English.
