O pozici
Qualifications and Skills:
The Purchaser must demonstrate solid competencies in procurement processes and goods receiving operations, with the ability to manage materials and services efficiently and accurately.
Areas of Responsibility and Competence:
Operates as an integral member of the company’s production team, supporting material flow and supply continuity.
Key Tasks:
• Ensure that all products and services supplied by the company and its partners are fit for purpose and fulfill internal and external requirements, including legal, regulatory, and customer-specific standards.
• Collaborate effectively with production and development teams to guarantee the timely availability of all required materials, components, and accessories.
• Maintain strict adherence to applicable national and international standards, regulations, and best practices related to procurement and goods handling.
• Receive goods and services, verify documentation and quality, and promptly communicate with the relevant departments for further processing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring appropriate stock management and FIFO (First In, First Out) application.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, proposing improvements and optimization strategies to enhance procurement efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Technical Competencies:
Proven experience in customs import/export processes, including:
• Direct communication with customs authorities and customs brokerage agencies for clearance procedures.
• Managing customs clearance operations, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant regulations.
• Maintaining regular contact with international suppliers to request, verify, and obtain any missing or required documents (e.g., invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, compliance certificates).
• Monitoring shipment status and coordinating with freight forwarders and logistics partners to resolve customs-related issues promptly.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation, product specifications, and supplier manuals.
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with preferred experience in ERP or inventory management systems.
•Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in Czech and English is required; knowledge of additional languages will be considered a strong asset.
