Production manager in fine chemichal facility

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Management

Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and customer requirements.
Ensure optimal utilization of equipment, materials, and personnel.
Oversee batch production processes and ensure adherence to formulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain and logistics to ensure uninterrupted production.

2. Quality and Safety Compliance

Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards (ISO, REACH, CLP, etc.).
Collaborate with the Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to maintain consistent product quality.
Conduct risk assessments and enforce strict safety procedures for handling chemicals and equipment.
Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

3. Leadership and Team Development

Supervise and mentor production staff, technicians, and shift leaders.
Organize training programs to enhance employee skills and safety awareness.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

4. Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement

Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to introduce new products and improve existing formulations.
Drive initiatives for cost reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainability.

5. Reporting and Documentation

Prepare production reports, performance metrics, and variance analyses.
Maintain accurate records of production data, incidents, and process changes.
Support audits and regulatory inspections as needed.
