O pozici

Reporting to both the Senior General Manager CZ&SK and CEE Partner Markets, and the Marketing Director CEE (matrix), the Senior Marketing Manager will serve as a key architect of our marketing vision and a champion of our organizational culture.

This role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record of driving brand growth, fostering innovation, and delivering exceptional results in a competitive market landscape.

▪️Key responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership and Vision: Develop and implement comprehensive brand and business strategies that achieve the company's vision and goals across the designated markets. Provide strategic counsel to the Senior General Manager on portfolio strategy, business development, resource allocation, and organizational priorities.
  • Marketing Organization Leadership: Lead and mentor the Marketing organization, encompassing Brand and Trade Marketing, Brand Business Insights (BBI), and Marketing Communications. Champion talent development, build marketing capabilities, and ensure a robust succession plan.
  • Portfolio Development and Innovation: Drive portfolio growth by identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities. Develop innovation pipelines in collaboration with global and local teams, contributing to the long-term strategic plan and annual business planning process.
  • Brand and Business Planning: Assume overall responsibility for the development of the annual Marketing plan, strategic market planning, market research programs, and Trade Marketing activities. Collaborate with the CEE Partner Markets dedicated marketing team and distributors to ensure alignment and execution of business plans.
  • Brand Stewardship and Budget Management: Ensure consistency of local brand activities and communications, adhering to global brand strategies and standards, while managing the area marketing budget to optimize resource allocation and achieve profitable growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between Sales and Finance, facilitating the implementation of brand strategies that enable efficient sales execution and drive profitable growth across targeted markets, channels, and key accounts.
  • Value Creation and Brand Performance: Lead the annual brand plan process, develop clear and actionable brand objectives, and create compelling communication and activation strategies. Act as a guardian of the brand and portfolio P&Ls, optimizing investment, pricing, and promotions.
  • Strategic Relationships and Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including distributors, agencies, and global teams. Ensure brand understanding, execution, and compliance with company guidelines.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimization: Utilize market research and data analysis to assess business performance and implement corrective actions as needed. Champion a test-and-learn approach and influence global teams to ensure appropriate market allocation.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide coaching and development to direct and indirect reports, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Act as a role model of Brown-Forman values, promoting diversity, inclusion, and a collaborative work environment.

▪️What do we expect from you?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably within the wine and spirits, luxury goods, or FMCG industry.
  • Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in driving brand growth and achieving business objectives in a competitive market.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google applications.
  • Experience working with distributors and managing agency relationships.
  • Previous line management experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of the Czech/Slovak On Trade channel is a plus.
