Senior Facilities Manager

This role requires a seasoned individual who is experienced with building technologies, hard and soft facility services, outsourcing, tendering, contracting large scale contracts at a regional or preferably global scale with a proven track record.

Your Role

As Senior Facilities Management Specialist, you will lead the execution of a global tender for Integrated Facility Management (IFM) including technical and non-technical facility services. You will be responsible for defining operational requirements, service levels, preventive maintenance schedules, and performance targets that support consistent, high-quality service delivery across all sites. This role is ideal for a senior facility management professional with deep knowledge of FM operations and a passion for driving global standards and operational excellence.

Global Facilities Operations Department

What You Will Do

• Lead global tendering initiatives for technical (eg, HVAC, fire systems, BMS) and non-technical (eg, janitorial, reception, catering) facility services
• Define service scope, technical requirements, maintenance schedules, SLAs, KPIs, and other critical performance indicators
• Analysis of current service delivery models, identify gaps, and develop strategies for improvement and standardization
• Create and maintain clear, collaborative documentation and file structures (eg, Google Drive) for cross-functional and regional use
• Develop consistent, scalable processes for vendor evaluation, selection, and onboarding across all regions
• Collaborate with procurement, legal, EHS, and local facility teams to ensure compliance and alignment with company strategy
• Provide technical expertise and operational oversight to ensure services meet business and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and support implementation of new contracts, ensuring clarity on roles, responsibilities, and governance mechanisms
• Act as a global subject matter expert on facility services tendering and operational process design

What You Will Bring

• University degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• 7+ years of experience in facilities operations, with proven success leading complex, global tenders
• Deep knowledge of facility management disciplines including maintenance planning, vendor management, and technical services
• Strong understanding of service level design, contract frameworks, and operational performance metrics
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead cross-regional projects and build consensus across diverse teams
• High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and structured problem-solving approach
• Fluency in English
