Local Senior Public Relations Specialist (Brno, Prague)

We are looking for a strategic, media-savvy communicator to join our team in Prague or Brno as a Local Senior PR Specialist. In this role, you’ll take the lead in shaping and delivering impactful and creative communication strategies. You’ll work across press relations, media outreach, stakeholder communication, and content development to ensure our voice remains clear, consistent, and aligned with our values.

Key responsibilities:

●Media Relations & Press Strategy
You will actively identify and engage with relevant journalists - including freelancers, social media influencers, and key in-house editors - while also monitoring and researching editorial calendars of major magazines and publications. You will act as the point of contact for media inquiries. You will also be organizing meetings and pitching stories to targeted media contacts.

●Creative Strategies & PR Campaigns
You will develop, execute, maintain, and evaluate a core studio narrative and positioning for long-term profiling. This includes creative PR campaigns across multiple channels - focused both on individual projects (around six per year) and broader studio storytelling. You’ll coordinate the creation of communication materials, including press kits, articles, and op-eds that elevate our brand and work. You will also oversee PR activities aimed at profiling and promoting our directors and emerging talents.

●Social Media Strategy & Content Planning
You will provide guidance on social media planning, ensuring consistent tone of voice and brand alignment across platforms. You will support content development and monitor performance metrics.

●Client & Stakeholders Communication
You will be maintaining direct contact with PR departments of our partners, clients, and suppliers. As the communication liaison between different stakeholders, you will ensure all public communications (press releases, interviews, statements) are accurate and aligned with the studio positioning and partners goals.

●Media Monitoring & Reporting
You will oversee monitoring of our media coverage, competitor activity, and industry trends. You’ll lead in assessing communication performance and recommending strategic adjustments.

● Editorial Journal on Studio Activities
As part of the broader communication plan, you will develop and implement a studio journal - producing a quarterly printed edition and a monthly digital edition - to keep our audiences informed and engaged.

● Collaboration on Curatorial Projects
You will closely collaborate with the curatorial department on content and storytelling. You will also support the curatorial team with exhibitions, public programs, and cultural events - particularly by coordinating communication efforts around these initiatives and helping to shape their public narrative.

Who we are looking for:

● Proven experience in PR and media relations, ideally in the fields of architecture, design, culture, or related creative industries.
● Strong communication and presentation skills in both Czech and English (spoken and written).
● Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to execution.
● Ability to build and manage relationships with media, clients, and partners.
● Creativity, precision, and a strong editorial sense.
● Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
● Experience with content creation for social media and familiarity with analytics tools.
● Proficiency in graphic and multimedia tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
