Confitex is a New Zealand company. It has a 30,000m2 factory in Southern China, 10,000 m2 facility in BM Parks, Litovel, Czechia, Innovation centre in Thaialand and Sales and Marketing team in Auckland, New Zealand.

Role Summary

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for all machinery operations at highest standards, speed and efficiencies as we as managing all equipment, systems, and preventive maintenance plans within the facility. This role is crucial in minimising downtime and ensuring efficient manufacturing support.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee equipment maintenance, servicing, and repair activities.

· Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules.

· Manage the maintenance team and external vendors.

· Ensure machine availability and minimal downtime.

· Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.

· Identify and implement energy and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

· Experience and understanding of automatic machinery for nonwoven and textile products is essential

· 5+ years of technical maintenance experience in manufacturing.

· Leadership experience in supervising maintenance operations.

· Fluency in Czech and English

· Technical degree or engineering background preferred.

· Experience with automatic bonding technologies, heat presses, automatic cutting, auto packing and other relevant machinery

Salary and Benefits

The role offers a competitive annual gross salary in the range of CZK 70 000 – CZK 90 000 per month depending on experience. Benefits include:
